It’s that time again, time for more flavors of spam! On occasion, I like to share some of the absurdities that come my way through the spam filter. They fill me with a sense of wonderment, and sometimes, admiration. These come from both my blog comments and my e-mail.
How much money does the government give each child for a nursery place?
Well, I think we would have to approach that question in terms of earned income child credits, because I don’t believe the government funds nursery school attendance outright. However, I’m already boring you, so I’ll move on.
Please take your time to read this message; although we have never met before, this is no spam. It’s a real message sent to you. I know also that you will be amazed at the level of trust that I am willing to place in a person that I have never seen nor spoken with.
It seems that a lot of people are trying to reassure me their messages are not spam lately, and since I am not amazed by your level of trust in a stranger, I’m going to have to pass on the opportunity to deposit your Cote d’Ivorian bank account funds.
This one simply inspired me with its honesty. So much so, that I almost approved it anyway.

Speaking the truth like that was almost enough for me to take pity on the spammer. And by reproducing the impassioned plea, I suppose that I am giving into him after all. However, the link has been removed.
