Flavors of Spam
Time for another edition of Flavors of Spam, wherein I’m been pressed for time to write blog posts (stupid flu), so I resort to looking through my spam for tasty nuggets to share.
Severe truth is expressed with some bitterness.
Of course, that’s a quote from Thoreau, and the spammer even credited it correctly. Think on it. Let it enrich you.
The same spammer also has quite the fascination with the ocean. Let this one glide over you like the poetry it is:
Sponges grow in the ocean. That just kills me. I wonder how much deeper the ocean would be if that didn’t happen.
Now that’s courtesy of comedian Steven Wright. So nice of that spammer not to plagiarize, don’t you think?
Tonight, I am watching Black Swan and celebrating the New Year with good friends at Dos Perros! Yes, you can definitely expect a cocktail posting out of that. I also have a few wines and a cocktail/shot from Motorco to write up, but I haven’t been to a new restaurant in a few weeks, so you’ll have to be patient for one of those reviews! Have fun tonight, guys!
